Fall Soccer

After warming up slowly, but finishing strong during her first season of soccer last spring, Sydney started strong and stayed that way throughout this fall season. She has sprouted up even more, and with her long legs she was one of the fastest girls out there. She also seemed to understand more of the nuances of the game, was more proactive in her play-making, and showed some good defensive strategies. Time will tell if soccer is something she wants to stick with, but she had a great time this fall season and stayed her smiley, cheerful self each week!

One of her biggest soccer supporters, Grandma made it to as many games as she could.

Myles also played soccer again this fall. He was part of the TOPS soccer league, and while he still enjoyed it and looked forward to playing each week, it wasn't quite as good of an experience as last spring. With fewer players his age, and less structure, he had a hard time remaining as engaged. We're still thankful for the opportunity and I'm sure he'll still want to play soccer in some capacity in the seasons to come.
