Step Up for Down Syndrome

Earlier this month we celebrated all those living with Down syndrome at the annual Step Up for Down Syndrome walk in City Park. This is our 6th year walking, with our first being when Myles was a mere 5 weeks old. As always, we had fun with friends and family on a gorgeous Colorado day.

Preschool

A few weeks ago Sydney started preschool for the first time! She is attending two mornings a week at our rec center preschool. I'm not worried about Sydney academically, but she really needs the classroom experience with her same age peers. Sydney is our loud child at home, and shy as can be in public. She gets nervous in new settings and it takes her awhile to warm up to new kids. She has been reserved at school so far, and there have been a few tears, but overall I actually think she likes it.
